Tradition and philosophy
The expression of the terroir
Didier DelagrangeThe winemaker aims to produce a wine that is as true as possible to its terroir. To achieve this, meticulous attention is required in the vineyard. Particular care is taken with the planting and the work in the vineyard. Since the vine is the foundation of winemaking, its fruit and flesh are treated with great care. The grapes are only harvested when they have reached optimal ripeness. With the primary goal of preserving the wine's natural balance as much as possible, the winemaker constantly adapts. He analyzes each vintage and determines the best methods to employ. At the same time, he enriches his practices with new, modern techniques. Thanks to these, he continually produces better wines. During vinification, he intervenes as little as possible. The aromas are therefore pure and can express themselves freely during aging. Noble grape varieties such as "Pinot Noir" or even the "Chardonnay"in this way they reveal their full character.
From vine to bottle
Application and meticulousness
Didier DelagrangeHe is not only a winegrower, but also a winemaker. All the wines from the estate are harvested, aged, and bottled within his vineyard. In this way, he ensures respect for theBurgundy terroirsand guarantees the highest quality for his wines. He himself says so: his aim is to produce wines that are full-bodied, round, bursting with fruit, and radiating finesse and elegance! To achieve this, very little intervention is carried out during vinification. However, this does not preclude extreme meticulousness. Thanks to his dedication, he preserves the natural balance of each of his appellations as well as their aromatic purity. He carefully attends not only to the wine's freshness but also to all its aromas. To ensure this and to best monitor the wine's development, tastings are conducted regularly.
