The wines of the estate
Wines to drink and to taste
The Hubert Lignier Estateaims for excellence and seeks to convey the purest expression of its exceptional terroir in its wines. It minimizes intervention during vinification and aging so that the wine reveals itself naturally. For this reason, quality is paramount and shapes the final product. The wines combine finesse, freshness, and elegance with incredible texture on the palate. Each of the terroirs, whether inGevrey-Chambertin, Morey Saint-Denisor even atClos de La Roche, expresses all its typicality in the wine.
The aging process is lengthy, taking place on the lees but in only 20 to 30% new oak barrels to avoid masking the final wine. Bottling is done by gravity, without fining or filtration. As a result, the wines develop incredible freshness and fantastic aging potential.
All the vintages are beautiful and we particularly like:
- THEPremier Cru aux Combotteswhich offers unparalleled finesse and depth of
- 1er Cru Les Chaffots.
- THEBourgogne Aligotéoffers immediate pleasure on tasting, between freshness and roundness, admirable.
