Vosne-Romanée

Vosne-Romanée is a village appellation in the Côte de Nuits . It has 14 Premier Cru vineyards and 6 Grand Cru vineyards. In total, 152 hectares of vines are planted there, almost a third of which are Premier Cru!

The red wines produced here have an intense color ranging from ruby ​​to deep purple. The bouquet evokes ripe fruit and spices, as well as small red and black berries. With age, it will evolve towards kirsch-soaked cherry and wilder notes of leather and fur. The palate is velvety and elegant. Sometimes austere in its early years, this is a wine for aging that needs time to reveal its full potential.

Among the most famous representatives of the appellation, we can mention Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux or Domaine Anne Gros .
