History of the estate
From father to son
The story begins withGiovanni Neri, founder of the estate and a true visionary. He very quickly understood the potential of the terroir ofMontalcinoand acquired vineyards on the best terroirs in the region. Since 1991, his son, Giacomo, has taken over the estate and raised it to the top ranks of the appellation's leading names. He passionately continues the work begun by his father a few years earlier.
A particular philosophy has always guided the estate. The team seeks to be part of regional traditions while bringing an innovative interpretation to the terroir ofBrunello di Montacino.

The vineyards ofSangiovese grossoThey are located in the heart of a natural amphitheater on the Asso River. The vineyards benefit from ideal exposure on clay-limestone soils. The estate covers 500 hectares, including 63 hectares of vineyards, 20 hectares of olive groves, and the remainder arable land and forests.

At the house ofCasanova di NeriThe cellar is a sacred space designed to respect the natural balance of the grapes. Meticulous sorting, the use of gravity, and fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks ensure superior quality at every stage of winemaking.
The wood used for aging is meticulously selected and refined to match the Sangiovese. Each vintage from the estate reflects the unique expression of the fruit, the terroir, and the microclimates from which it originates.
