Owner and history

Château Brane-Cantenac is located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, encompassing 70 hectares of vineyards, 30 of which lie directly in front of the château. It sits on some of the appellation's finest terroirs: deep gravelly soils that impart a beautiful freshness to the wines.

Vinification and aging

The vineyard is managed as naturally as possible.
- Hand-harvested and then sorted using optical sorting
- Vinification by plot
- Aged in barrels, 60 to 70% of which are new, for a period of 18 months
