Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Calon Ségur is a meticulous process. The carefully selected grapes are destemmed before being placed in vats for temperature-controlled fermentation. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are renewed annually, imparting complexity and finesse to the wine.
