    Tasting notes

    Wood-fired ribeye steak, lamb chops with herbs de Provence, or duck legs with mushrooms will pair beautifully with this vintage. Serve it at around 14°C after decanting for at least an hour, especially when young.

    Owner and history

    This cuvée comes from a very high-quality plot of the same name. In 1960, Henri Barruol recognized the potential of his old Grenache vines. The calcareous sand soil gives this cuvée its distinctive character.

    - Aging in different containers: new barrels, barrels used for one wine, and barrels used for two or three wines
