    Owner and history

    The Fonroque vineyard boasts 22 hectares of land, 17.6 hectares of which are in production, just a stone's throw from the iconic village of Saint-Émilion. Benefiting from this distinctive terroir, the vineyard comprises three to four different soil types: limestone on the plateau, clay-limestone on the slopes and at the foot of the hills, and more clayey soils with silt and sand. The grape varieties planted are predominantly Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%).
