Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Talbot is a meticulous process, beginning with the hand-harvesting of grapes at their peak ripeness. After rigorous sorting, the berries are destemmed and crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, one-third of which are new, for approximately 15 months. This crucial stage imparts the wine's aromatic complexity and structure. The final blend is carefully crafted, aiming to reflect the estate's identity and the expression of each vintage.
