A A classic Pessac-Léognan. The carefully selected grapes for its blend lend it a fresh, fruity character coupled with an elegant structure. Impeccable as a second wine.
95-96/100 pts JAMES SUCKLING “ Lots of blackcurrant, crushed stone, licorice, iodine, and graphite. Blue fruits too. It is full-bodied, with firm, chewy tannins that are refined and polished. Flawless. Excellent second wine . ”
93+/100 pts VINOUS “ Very elegant and refined , with plenty of aromatic nuance and character. Succulent notes of black cherry, rose petal, dried herbs, and menthol energize this Pessac-Léognan. The precision and nuance are superb. Perhaps most importantly, the Haut-Bailly doesn't at all give the impression of being a wine from a hot vintage. ”
