    Owner and history

    The vineyard covers 14 hectares, comprising 23 plots, each with its own specific soil characteristics. Each grape variety is planted accordingly, ensuring that the wines express the terroir beautifully. For example, Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) thrive in gravelly soil, while Merlot (70%) flourishes in clay soil. The vines benefit from clay-gravel soils on the renowned Gunz terrace. The château produces authentic wines that truly reflect the Pomerol terroir.
