A 30-hectare property entirely located within the smallest appellation ofBordeaux, THECérons Castlehas belonged to the Perromat family since 1958. Caroline and Xavier bought back and took over the management of the castle in 2012, they have lived on the property ever since with their four children and their two dogs, Laurelle and Hardy.

THECérons CastleLocated opposite the 12th-century church, it is one of the first Carthusian monasteries of theBordelaisIt is built on the site of the former village of Cérons and has been listed as a historical monument since August 2008 for its interior decorations: sculptures, woodwork, and stucco work. An exceptional terroir

The smallest denomination ofBordelaisis also one of the oldest. Dating from 1936, it covers only 38 hectares. On the edge of the Sauternes region, it is an enclave within the area ofGraves: the appellation only applies to sweet white wines, dry white and red wines produced in the appellation area are eligible for the Graves appellation.

The terroir ofCeronsis very particular, it's the combination of the microclimate ofBarsac and Sauternes, with the influence of the Ciron which allows the development ofBotrytis Cinerea, and a subsoil of limestone slabs with asterias covered with alluvial gravels.
