Burgundy is known as one of the most beautiful wine regions in France. In 1890, between Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges, it welcomed the familyGachot-MonotFive generations, guided by excellence, have succeeded one another in order to spread their passion for Burgundy.
Revealing all the subtleties of the terroir is today the prerogative ofDamien GachotAs a worthy heir to the family business, he has expanded his operations across no fewer than five villages. Since 1993, Damien has been crafting wines prized worldwide for their quality.
To enhance the Burgundy terroir
AN 18-HECTARE VINEYARD
The estate's main house is located in the heart of Burgundy, between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune.Gachot-MonotEstablished across five different villages, the vineyard now comprises 18 hectares of vines. Between Corgoloin, Comblanchien, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny and Saint-Aubin, the vineyard stretches over amosaic of terroirsand benefits from oceanic and continental influences.
The vines are planted on a hillside, which provides them with good drainage. During the harvest, all the grape bunches are gathered at the estate to make still red and white wines, as well as Crémant de Bourgogne. ThePinot Noirand theGamayfor the reds, as for the whites, they are thechardonnayand thealigotwhich are cultivated.
Viticulture is carried out in a sustainable manner and the maintenance of the vines is done plot by plot.
