This Village appellation in the Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, comprises 22 Premier Cru vineyards. It is on limestone soils with sandy nuances that the sole grape variety for these red wines, Pinot Noir, thrives. Its deep cherry color is complemented by aromas of black fruit and violet. Round on the palate, it reveals its power with hints of Morello cherry. The south-facing exposure produces golden white wines with a buttery bouquet. Hints of lemon and spice lend these wines a full-bodied character.
