The history of the estate
A friendly wine-tasting adventure
In 2018, Sylvie, Nicolas and François fell under the spell of this vineyard ofSaint-Chinian.Two years earlier, they had begun their search for a vineyard to settle on. Their goal was to realize their dream: to make terroir-driven wines full of personality and vitality. When they visited Babeau-Bouldoux, they immediately fell in love with this beautiful terroir.
Together, they rename thePurple Orchid Estate, in reference to a wild orchid found in the vineyard. This wildflower blooms in May among the vines and testifies to the preserved biodiversity of the vineyard.
This lovely story of friendship has blossomed into a wonderful winemaking adventure. The wines are very promising!
