Anjou-Villages

The Anjou-Villages appellation is a selection of delimited plots within the Anjou AOC, located in the heart of the Loire Valley. A total of 46 communes are included in this small appellation. Situated south of Angers, the vineyard covers nearly 200 hectares. It produces exclusively red wines from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The vines are very often situated on hillsides, sheltered from damp conditions.
