The History of the Estate

A family transmission

The estate was established in 1960 whenPatrice MichonHe settled in Brem-sur-Mere, taking over his father's few vines. He expanded the vineyard and built a brand new winery. In 1984, his two sons joined him before one of them, Thierry, took over the reins permanently.

Thierry Michon took over his father's land and continues to nurture this beautiful terroir. The vineyard has becomeAOC Fiefs Vendéensin 2011 and then certified inBiodynamicsAntoine and Mickaël join their father on the estate. A new winery is built in the heart of the vineyards.

Diversity and Biodynamics at the heart of the vineyards

The estate's plots are diverse and extend across different soil types. This great diversity of terroir contributes to the richness of this terroir bordering salt marshes.
