This vineyard, located on the right bank of the Rhône River 40km south of Lyon, produces exceptional white wines made from a single grape variety: Viognier. Pale in color with green highlights, fresh and highly aromatic, Condrieu is a wine best enjoyed young, developing aromas of peach and violet. At its peak, it releases notes of gingerbread and tobacco. The appellation is now an AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) and has become a global benchmark.
