    Owner and history

    This Médoc estate is considered among the oldest and boasts the largest vineyard of the Classified Growths, with 331 hectares of vines. Two types of wine are produced within the Haut-Médoc appellation: red and white. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grape varieties allow for a true expression of the terroir in the red wines. Sauvignon Blanc and Gris, as well as Sémillon, are dedicated to the white wines. All the vines benefit from a soil of Günzian gravel over a clay-limestone subsoil. Château La Tour Carnet offers wine lovers and connoisseurs wines of remarkable depth and complexity.
