    Owner and history

The Château Monbousquet vineyard is situated on a terroir of gravelly soils, ideal for the development of Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate covers 32 hectares of vines. The grape varieties planted are 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard lies on a plain with a terroir of sand, gravel, and limestone. To the south, the soil is composed of deep, warm gravel, while to the north it is sandy-clay.

    Vinification and aging

    - The grape harvest is done by hand
    - Aged for 18 to 24 months in 50% new oak barrels
