Owner and history

Owned by the Roederer family group since 2007, Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is passionately managed by Nicolas Glumineau, oenologist and general manager. Glumineau embodies a modern vision of great terroir-driven wines, combining tradition, innovation, and respect for the environment. Vinification and aging

At the Château, vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, plot by plot, to fully express the unique character of each terroir. Fermentation is precisely managed, followed by a long maceration that promotes the gentle extraction of tannins.
Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2024 is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, approximately 50% of which are new. This aging process gives the wine structure, roundness, and aging potential while respecting the elegance of the fruit.
