In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, Château Pontet-Canet embodies the excellence of the Médoc with a strong personality and a resolutely forward-looking approach. Located a stone's throw from the banks of the Gironde estuary, this 81-hectare estate is among the 5th Growth Classified in 1855. Since the early 2000s, it has been managed by Alfred Tesseron, who took the bold and successful step of converting the entire vineyard to biodynamic farming. The result? Precise, intense wines with vibrant expressions of the Médoc terroir. Château Pontet-Canet doesn't simply perpetuate Bordeaux tradition; it boldly redefines it, to the delight of lovers of great terroir-driven wines.

Tasting notes
Château Pontet-Canet 2024 presents a deep, brilliant purple robe. The nose opens with great aromatic complexity: ripe black fruits, a delicate floral touch, and notes of cedar and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, yet supported by silky tannins and a balancing freshness. The finish is long and elegant, revealing beautifully precise spicy and mineral nuances. A great wine for aging, with a structured and elegant profile.
