Enjoy it with a lovely pink duck breast, a veal stew, or even roasted parsnips.

    Owner and history

Jean-Luc Thunevin is the pioneer of garage wines. He started with 0.6 hectares of vines in the Fongaban valley. In 1999, he acquired new plots in the late-ripening terroirs of Saint-Etienne de Lisse. Today, the estate covers more than 8 hectares with 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, and 1% Carménère. The vines are on average 30 years old. Recently, he planted Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Noir in the vineyard!

    Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested by hand. The wine is aged for 18 to 24 months in new oak barrels.
