    Owner and history

The Beaune 1er Cru Les Boucherottes vineyard rests on soils rich in clay and limestone, giving the Pinot Noir a mineral and elegant expression. The vines, with their excellent exposure, allow for optimal ripening, essential for balanced and profound wines.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine AF Gros adheres to traditional Burgundian methods, with meticulous attention paid to each stage. The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and then vinified with care to express the unique character of the Beaune Les Boucherottes terroir. Aging in oak barrels for approximately 12 to 15 months adds complexity and roundness without overpowering the natural aromas of the Pinot Noir. For this 2006 vintage, aging has allowed the wine to develop great elegance, with silky tannins and beautiful aromatic depth. This Premier Cru Beaune is designed to evolve in the bottle, offering a progressive profile that is perfectly suited to special occasions and exceptional tasting moments.
