    Les Cistes 2015 reveals an intense ruby ​​color with garnet highlights. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, garrigue, and leather. On the palate, the wine is generous, dense, and structured, with present but well-integrated tannins.     The vines of Domaine Peyre Rose are planted on a typical Languedoc garrigue terroir, composed of clay-limestone and stony soils. Benefiting from optimal sunshine and regular winds, they offer an ideal environment for uncompromising organic farming. The planting density and minimal intervention in the vineyards allow the natural balance to be preserved and the typicity of the Languedoc to be accurately expressed in each vintage.

    Owner and history

    Marlène Soria, a former real estate agent turned self-taught winemaker, is the heart and soul of Domaine Peyre Rose. Since founding the estate in the 1990s, she has instilled her exacting and authentic vision of wine. True to her principles of respect for all living things, she has always cultivated her 26 hectares organically. Her legendary patience and her commitment to releasing wines only at their peak have made her a legendary figure in the Languedoc region.

    Vinification and aging

    At Domaine Peyre Rose, winemaking relies on traditional methods: hand-harvesting, rigorous sorting, and long, gentle fermentations in stainless steel tanks. The 2015 Les Cistes vintage is then aged for several years in the estate's cellars, first in tanks, then in bottles, before being released. This patience gives the wine a unique complexity and exceptional aging potential, without the use of new oak.
