" Notes of peony, red berries, and orange peel with hints of dried white flowers and toast. Fleshy and charming, it is supple and open, with a core of enveloping fruit. " William Kelley

This Pinot Noir/Pinot Meunier/Chardonnay blend is complemented by 12% red wines from various Champagne crus, which give this cuvée its unique color and aromas. This meticulous work, combined with a dosage of 10 g/l, results in a rosé of great finesse.

Owner and history

The Veuve Clicquot vineyard covers 390 hectares, spread across prestigious Grand and Premier Cru terroirs. Its chalky soil, typical of Champagne, promotes optimal drainage and gives the grapes a unique aromatic finesse. The House is committed to sustainable viticulture, guaranteeing a pure expression of the terroir while preserving the environment. The vines benefit from an ideal climate, allowing for a gradual and even ripening of the grapes.

Vinification and aging

The creation of this Brut Rosé NV relies on Veuve Clicquot's time-honored expertise. After meticulous hand-harvesting, the grapes are pressed and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to soften the wine's acids. The blend includes approximately 12% red wines made from Pinot Noir, which contribute color and complexity. Finally, the champagne ages on its lees for at least three years, developing its creamy texture and aromatic richness.
