" Another prodigious vintage of this wine! How many wines in the world can be both so immense and yet devoid of any sense of heaviness? The palate offers a profusion of layered spices but also a heart of raspberries; rich tannins without any real astringency; and a long finish, without any perceptible heat. Impressive! " The Wine Advocate, 98 points/100
The Perrin family needs no introduction to Rhône wine lovers, given the resounding success of Château de Beaucastel . Their Hommage à Jacques Perrin cuvée, made from Mourvèdre grapes, is produced in small quantities and was created in 1989. It is one of the greatest wines of France , and its stature is well deserved.

Tasting notes
This wine has a deep, almost brilliant red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, and garrigue mingle, offering a beautiful complexity. On the palate, the texture is velvety and structured, revealing flavors of blackberry, pepper, and a touch of licorice. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a sensation of warmth and depth.

The Château de Beaucastel vineyard is a true haven of biodiversity. The vines, cultivated biodynamically, benefit from an ideal Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The soils, rich in limestone and rolled pebbles, promote excellent drainage and optimal grape ripening. This diversity of terroirs allows each grape variety to fully express its potential, resulting in wines of unparalleled richness.
