    Pair this lovely wine with a delicious beef bourguignon or eggs meurette. Serve it at around 13-14°C after opening it a few hours before tasting. Cellar this wine for a few years to allow it to fully develop its complexity.

    Owner and history

    This cuvée comes from a blend of 3 parcels whose vines were planted between 1959 and 1979. Clos de la Maladière is located on a clay-limestone terroir with a lot of clay.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - Cold pre-fermentation maceration of 4 to 5 days using indigenous yeasts
    - Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
