Owner and history

The Château de la Tour vineyard rests on an exceptional terroir, composed of rich clay-limestone soils, which impart power and depth to the wines. Cultivated using certified organic farming methods since 2021, the vines are worked in accordance with lunar cycles, with the use of natural herbal teas produced on the estate to enhance their balance. The estate's approach is resolutely focused on sustainable and minimal-intervention viticulture. The harvest is carried out manually with meticulous sorting on a vibrating table, guaranteeing the selection of the finest grapes to craft this exceptional vintage.

Vinification and aging

Château de la Tour practices traditional winemaking, favoring a gentle extraction that respects the fruit. Punching down is done by foot, an age-old technique that allows for the extraction of all the finesse of the Pinot Noir without excessive power.
The aging process, which lasts on average 18 to 20 months in French oak barrels, incorporates a variable percentage of new oak depending on the specific characteristics of the vintage. This tailored approach allows the full expression of the terroir without masking the wine's purity. No sulfur is added until bottling, and the wine is aged using indigenous yeasts, without filtration or excessive pressing, guaranteeing an authentic and vibrant expression of this prestigious cuvée.
