The Château du Seuil vineyard enjoys a privileged location on the sunny slopes of Aix-en-Provence, in the immediate vicinity of the Sainte-Victoire mountain range. The terroir, typically Provençal, is composed mainly of clay-limestone soils and sandy marl, imparting a beautiful minerality to the wines. The organic farming practices adopted by the estate allow for a natural expression of the fruit and the terroir. The Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Rolle vines used for this rosé benefit from optimal sunshine and a Mediterranean climate, promoting perfect grape ripening each vintage.

    Owner and history

Château du Seuil is currently managed by the Daussun family, who are passionate about Provence and its unique terroir. The owners are committed to preserving the estate's historical identity while actively pursuing an eco-responsible approach. Thanks to their innovative vision, they have converted the entire vineyard to organic farming, contributing to the continuous improvement of their wines' quality. Their expertise and dedication are reflected in every bottle produced, making Château du Seuil a leading name among the region's wineries and guaranteeing elegant and environmentally conscious wines.

    Vinification and aging

At Château du Seuil, winemaking is carried out in strict accordance with organic practices. Hand-harvesting ensures the selection of the finest grapes. Winemaking prioritizes gentle methods that respect the fruit, notably through delicate direct pressing followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The 2024 rosé benefits from a short aging period in tanks to preserve the freshness and aromatic purity of the grapes. This meticulous approach gives the wine finesse and balance, highlighting its characteristic fruity and floral notes.
