The estate is currently managed by Gérard Perse, a man passionate about viticulture and the art of winemaking. Under his leadership, Château La Mondotte has risen to the pinnacle of Bordeaux's great wines. Gérard Perse also owns other prestigious estates, such as Château Pavie and Château Monbousquet. His commitment to excellence and his respect for the terroir make him a key figure in the French wine world.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château La Mondotte is carried out with traditional and respectful expertise. The grapes, carefully harvested by hand, are destemmed before being fermented in temperature-controlled vats. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, adding complexity and roundness to the wine. This attention to detail at each stage of winemaking contributes to the creation of wines of great finesse, which can improve with age.
