    Description

Another Gamay that looks like a Pinot Noir, crafted by one of the appellation's masters. This Moulin-à-Vent will dispel any preconceived notions uninitiated may have about Beaujolais!

Aromas of juicy dark fruits , ripe cherry , and crushed strawberries , enhanced by a floral touch and a delicate spicy undertone . On the palate, its precise aging imparts a velvety texture , controlled depth , and subtle smoky and bacon notes on the finish. At once elegant, luscious, and structured , this wine offers beautiful complexity now while promising elegant development over the years . A sure bet.

    Terroir : Gore, manganese

Viticulture : uncertified organic farming for many years.

Winemaking & aging : Jean-Paul Brun produces his wines in a Burgundian style, with destemmed fruit and fermentation in concrete tanks, and they are aged in a combination of concrete and neutral oak barrels.

Located in Charnay-en-Beaujolais, Domaine des Terres Dorées is an iconic family estate in southern Beaujolais, run by Jean-Paul Brun since 1979. A pioneer in environmentally conscious viticulture, he cultivates his 44 hectares (Gamay, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Roussanne) organically, with meticulous soil management and hand-harvesting. Renowned for his authentic approach to terroir, Jean-Paul Brun crafts wines that are pure, elegant, and approachable, such as his celebrated L'Ancien cuvée or the powerful Le Buissy . The estate also excels in the Beaujolais crus, with remarkable expressions of Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent, Brouilly, and Morgon. His Beaujolais Blanc wines, made entirely from Chardonnay, confirm his signature finesse and straightforwardness. A must-visit estate in Beaujolais.
