    Owner and history

    The Meursault vineyards rest on exceptionally rich clay-limestone soil, ideal for producing great white wines. Benefiting from a temperate climate and optimal sun exposure, the vines of Domaine Joseph Drouhin are cultivated organically, with an approach that respects the environment and natural cycles. This unique terroir imparts to the wines a vibrant minerality and an elegance characteristic of the finest Chardonnays of Burgundy.

    Vinification and aging

    The 2021 Meursault is vinified using indigenous yeasts, respecting the authentic expression of the terroir. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months, 25% of which are new, imparting subtle structure and added complexity. This meticulous aging process preserves the balance between freshness and aromatic depth.
