    Tasting notes

    Pièce de Roche is best enjoyed with refined cuisine! It will be excellent with duck breast, or a beautiful veal chop with chanterelles. Feel free to open the bottle at least an hour before tasting and serve it at around 15°C.

    Owner and history

    The Carignan vines were planted in 1892; they have stood the test of time and today allow us to offer an ethereal vintage. The vines are cultivated on horseback to best preserve the old vines. The vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested and sorted in the vineyard
    - Vinification in stainless steel tanks and terracotta amphorae (60%) with indigenous yeasts
    - Aged for 12 months in barrels and in terracotta eggs laid horizontally to bring out the freshness of the vintage
