Owner and history

This cuvée comes from the Les Greffieux vineyard, located on the prestigious Hermitage hill. The vines, planted on granite and clay-limestone terraces, benefit from optimal southern exposure. The old Syrah vines, over 50 years old, produce low but high-quality yields, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration and complexity. The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically.

Vinification and aging

Hand-harvested at full maturity and rigorously sorted
Fermentation in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts
Aged in barrels for 14 to 18 months (no fining)
