    Vinification and aging

The winemaking of Petit Mouton 2018 follows the Château Mouton Rothschild tradition of excellence. The grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully sorted to retain only the finest berries. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature management. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 12 months. This meticulous process ensures a harmonious integration of tannins and aromas, giving the wine its complexity and elegance, while respecting the identity of the terroir.
