The quality of the wines from Domaine du Coulet
Carefully crafted wines that express the terroir
The grapes are transferred entirely by gravity into concrete or stainless steel tanks with a maximum capacity of 20 hectoliters. Almost all the grapes are destemmed, and extraction is carried out gently through small pump-overs or punch-downs.
From the 2017 vintage onwards, the use of oak barrels is prohibited in favor of ovoid cement and terracotta tanks, with the aim of expressing the pure aromatics of the grapes without the influence of the container.
Today, theDomaine du Couletoffers two distinct ranges of wines which are produced based on the same convictions:
The range “Domain"which comes exclusively from grapes grown in the vineyard, very focused on expressing the minerality and terroirs ofCornas.
The range “Partnership"based on sharing with winegrowers whose convictions are identical to those ofDomaine du Coulet.
