This wine boasts a deep purple color with garnet highlights. The nose is intense and elegant, revealing aromas of ripe black fruit, truffle, cocoa, and fine wood. On the palate, the attack is ample, the tannins are silky, and the structure is perfectly balanced. The finish is long and persistent, carried by spicy and lightly toasted notes.

The Château Clinet vineyard covers approximately 11 hectares in the heart of the Pomerol appellation. The soils are predominantly composed of deep clay mixed with gravel, providing excellent drainage while retaining the moisture necessary for the vines. This exceptional terroir, combined with carefully selected grape varieties, allows the estate to produce wines of great density and rare refinement.

    Owner and history

Since 1998, the estate has been managed by Ronan Laborde, supported by his family. Under his leadership, Château Clinet has achieved a level of excellence recognized worldwide. A passionate and visionary man, Ronan has modernized the facilities while preserving traditional practices. He embodies a generation of winemakers dedicated to showcasing their terroir by producing authentic, powerful, and elegant wines, true to the identity of Pomerol.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process at Château Clinet relies on fermentations in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for a gentle and precise extraction of aromas and tannins.
The 2014 vintage was aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, approximately 60% of which were new, bringing depth, structure and elegance to the wine without masking the fruit.
