Owner and history

In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, Château Pontet Canet is a neighbor of Château Mouton Rothschild and Château d'Armailhac. It covers 80 hectares, certified organic and biodynamic. The vines are on average 40 to 45 years old. The vineyard is managed plot by plot with the most natural approach possible.

Vinification and aging

The wine matures for 16 to 20 months in oak barrels, some of which are new (50 to 60% depending on the year).
