Owner and history

The Château Pontet-Canet vineyard covers 81 hectares. Its vines, averaging around forty years old, are managed plot by plot to maximize their potential. Beyond this plot-by-plot approach, the pursuit of quality involves a return to the terroir through biodynamic farming practices. The Pauillac appellation in which the Château is located possesses great qualities which must be enhanced from the very beginning of the work in the land.

Vinification and aging

- Harvested by plot and by hand
- Minimal intervention during winemaking
- Aged in oak barrels for 2/3 and in concrete tanks (made from Pauillac soil) for the rest. Duration: 16 to 20 months.
