    Owner and history

    Champin le Seigneur is a blend of different terroirs in Côte-Rôtie. These parcels are located in the northern part of the appellation on mica schist and loess soils. The vines grow on very high-quality slopes. The vines are over 50 years old (1/4), and over 10 years old (1/2).

    Vinification and aging

    - Sorting of the grapes in the vineyard and then in the winery
    - Total destemming of the bunches
    - 3-week maceration in stainless steel tanks
    - Aged in barrels (50% new, 25% one-year-old and 25% two-year-old barrels)
