The Domaine Faiveley vineyard is rooted in clay-limestone soils, typical of Burgundy, which contribute to the finesse and elegance of the wines. The vines are cultivated with care, promoting biodiversity and soil health. The region's continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters, contributes to the optimal ripening of the grapes, resulting in wines of great aromatic richness. Each plot is carefully selected to produce wines that reflect the identity of their terroir.

    Owner and history

The estate is currently managed by the Faiveley family, who perpetuate a centuries-old winemaking tradition. Sylvain Faiveley, at the helm of the estate, continues to uphold the values of quality and authenticity. Under his leadership, the estate has modernized its facilities while respecting traditional winemaking methods. The family remains committed to the idea that each wine should tell the story of its terroir and works with passion to produce wines that delight wine lovers worldwide.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Faiveley is a delicate alchemy. The hand-harvested grapes are destemmed before being placed in vats for a gentle and controlled fermentation. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, allowing for the subtle integration of the wood while preserving the expression of the fruit. This meticulous process lasts approximately 12 to 16 months, depending on the vintage, and allows the wine's structure to refine, giving it complexity and depth. Each bottle reflects ancestral know-how, imbued with passion and respect for the terroir.
