Owner and history

The vines have an average age of 45 years and are located at the southernmost edge of the Beaune appellation. This walled vineyard was once home to bees and beehives; its "honeybees" gave their name to this lovely plot near Pommard. The vineyard is planted with equal proportions of red and white grape varieties and produces some of the legendary wines of Maison Drouhin.

Vinification and aging

Hand-harvested and very selective sorting of the best bunches
Aged for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels (25% new)
